John 17:11 AMP
Holy Father, keep them in Your name [in the knowledge of Yourself] those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We [are one].
Jesus’ final prayer for us centered on our being one with Him and with the Father. We consider that a future hope, but it is a present reality. In fact, it is a PAST TENSE FACT.
Those who are truly born again, were born INTO Christ. We ARE one with Him. It’s just that we dimly see it and rarely experience it, so we don’t believe it.
