A person whose desire rests on you you preserve in perfect peace, because he trusts in you.
Our one responsibility is choosing God as Lord of all, and that is a lifelong confrontation of choosing between life and death. It’s a lifetime of shedding what isn’t worth your interest for Him Who is worth everything.
To live gazing is first choosing God as your Master: to live for God, give all to God, and exist in God. This is the choice you alone can make.
Then God opens the floodgates of His power to keep you in Him and to keep your eye singly on the Son. You will naturally bow to the Holy Spirit and He will draw you back over and over to focus.
To choose is my work, but gazing is of the Spirit. His focus is always to exalt Jesus and I am taken into HIS focus. THIS IS GAZING!
From within your heart, the Spirit will cause you to love gazing at Jesus. From within your mind, He will remind you to come back and ‘look away to Jesus.’ The Trinity, the whole Godhead, along with the angels of ministry, will support you in gazing at the Beloved Son.
