About Rule and Reign Like Daniel Series
Daniel believed in God as Ruler, so he brought Heaven’s Rule into his earthly government and heathen captors. Do you rule and reign like Daniel did?
Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, Whose works are all faithful and right and Whose ways are just. And those who walk in pride He is able to abase and humble.
Daniel 4:37 AMP
This man had been through years of base living as a beast and grave delusion of mind.
Nebuchadnezzar had been humiliated beyond imagination and suffered being lost – even from himself. For seven desolate years, he was separated from people and position, from everything he had.
Yet at the end of it, he honored God as innocent of any wrong toward him. Nebuchadnezzar praised and even exalted Him. He declared that God had been faithful to correct him. That He was right in His assessment of him. And just in His punishment! The core of the king’s problem was recognized: pride. God had won the battle of ‘who is God.’ The king was completely defeated and glad of it. Peace of soul at last!
Seeing God as King of heaven is the end of pride. Resigning as god is the beginning of humility.
God is GOD, and the king is not!
