About Let Series
LET. Wielded by the Holy Spirit, this tiny word had a huge impact on Martha’s life, and the adventure can be yours, too, if you just LET God be GOD.
2 Corinthians 3:18 KJV
But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord…
David Wilkerson wrote about this verse with brilliant revelation. He said, “What does it mean to behold the Lord’s glory? Paul is speaking here of devoted, focused worship. It’s time that’s given to God simply to behold Him.”
Taking time to give God time.
The world calls meditation “taking time to look into yourself.” And even that has a healing, calming effect on the body. Now science has proven that just relaxing and being quiet, for even a short time, heals the brain and restores the body from the damage of stress.
But we believers are making time to behold the Creator of the body. This is gazing at the Son of God, the Bread of Life, the Good Shepherd, Wonderful Counselor, the Beginning and the End!
How vastly more will we benefit from such a simple turn, a small gift of time? And what effect would it have on us to give all our time and focus to the Prince of Peace?
