About Let Series
LET. Wielded by the Holy Spirit, this tiny word had a huge impact on Martha’s life, and the adventure can be yours, too, if you just LET God be GOD.
John 8:51 AMPC
I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, if anyone observes My teaching [lives in accordance with My message, keeps My word], he will by no means ever see and experience death.
What is His message? “Look away to Jesus.” Just keep that Word and become new. Someone said to me yesterday, “You are not the same person you were four years ago.” I can’t see any change. You see, to be in His presence is to “be transfigured into His image” and the essence of Christ is the loss of self-awareness.
To change, the old must go so the New can become. Transfiguration is entirely a mystery; it bypasses the mind and happens beyond the senses.
You cannot be in the presence of Jesus without dying…but it is painless and even blissful because you don’t ‘experience’ your death. Christ the Lord decimates you by His holiness and your old-self simply perishes before Him. Easy and natural, so pleasant that you will not know you are dying or have died into another person altogether. Isn’t that what He promised?
Gazing is the easiest, surest way into absolute change from one kind of being to another, like Christ. Amazing, outlandish possibility! Don’t miss it.
J. B. Stoney wrote, “The moment you are in the presence of the Lord you are dismantled. The effect of His presence is to remove what would interfere with the action of Himself.”
