And the Lord – Who is the Spirit – makes us more and more like Him as we are changed into His glorious image.
When I turn to consider the Spirit of God and His endless work on our behalf, I get weepy. He is so precious, yet so rejected and ignored. He does not fight for His place, He just withdraws. He stands by perpetually, just waiting to be asked in, to bring every amazing provision that Christ earned for us.
The Holy Spirit performs our transfiguration, imparting to us the inexplicable glory of Christ.
