About Let Series
LET. Wielded by the Holy Spirit, this tiny word had a huge impact on Martha’s life, and the adventure can be yours, too, if you just LET God be GOD.
2 Corinthians 3:18b NLT
And the Lord – Who is the Spirit – makes us more and more like Him as we are changed into His glorious image.
When I turn to consider the Spirit of God and His endless work on our behalf, I get weepy. He is so precious, yet so rejected and ignored. He does not fight for His place, He just withdraws. He stands by perpetually, just waiting to be asked in, to bring every amazing provision that Christ earned for us.
The Holy Spirit performs our transfiguration, imparting to us the inexplicable glory of Christ.
From my audio series, The Spirit and the Wind:
“God has numerous names. Christ Jesus has many names. The Holy Spirit has but one name: ‘the Spirit’ and ‘the Holy Spirit.’ He is known by His acts and His ministry, His treasures and by Whom He serves. He is the Spirit of the Father, the Spirit of Christ. The Spirit of…Another.
“He is nameless because He is the humblest of Servants. He is the gentleness of the Godhead and He is the Power outflowing from the Throne onto humanity, whoever will welcome Him.”
