About Let Series
LET. Wielded by the Holy Spirit, this tiny word had a huge impact on Martha’s life, and the adventure can be yours, too, if you just LET God be GOD.
2 Corinthians 4:6 NASB
For God, who said, “Light shall shine out of darkness,” is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.
I have a friend who includes this verse in every email. It has deeply impacted me and is becoming more and more a reality. I stop and take time to read the wonder of what it says. And I find I am believing this amazing promise and certainty.
The unimaginable glory of God is what “shines into our hearts” when we look away unto Jesus. This verse tells me of the transfiguration that is happening unseen, unrealized within us. We are coming to a knowledge of the majesty and glory of God Himself, as it resides in Christ and so is available to us. And our hearts are shining with the light of His glory.
Just look long at this Amplified version and let it sink in. We are “beholding the majesty and glory of God in the face of Christ.”
2 Corinthians 4:6 AMPC
For God Who said, Let light shine out of darkness, has shone in our hearts so as [to beam forth] the Light for the illumination of the knowledge of the majesty and glory of God [as it is manifest in the Person and is revealed] in the face of Jesus Christ (the Messiah).
