LET. Wielded by the Holy Spirit, this tiny word had a huge impact on Martha’s life, and the adventure can be yours, too, if you just LET God be GOD.

When Jesus talked to Nicodemus, He freely, lavishly gave this man the entire gospel: from birth to judgment, from redemption to condemnation. And amazingly, Jesus revealed to this one religious man – who came, sought and questioned – that the essence of the gospel is about the Light. And that will be the final question to humanity.
Let’s be clear again about the Light. If it is so central to the gospel and to our very existence, what is the Light?
John knew and wrote it. John saw and said it.
John 1:3-4 AMPC
All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him was not even one thing made that has come into being. In Him was Life, and the Life was the Light of men.
The Life is Jesus and the Light is that eternal blazing glory that He possessed as God. God dwelling in a human Man – that is both Light and Life. The LIGHT distinguished Him from ordinary human beings.
Now it is the presence of the Light of His glory that is the issue. If we have glimpsed the light – and we have – then we are utterly and terribly accountable.
It is not deeds or goodness, it is not even knowledge of God that will be our scale. There is one issue and one accountability for which we will answer: What did you do with the Revelation of Jesus? What response did you have to the Light of divine understanding you received from the Father in heaven?
What was your response to the Light?
