About Let Series
LET. Wielded by the Holy Spirit, this tiny word had a huge impact on Martha’s life, and the adventure can be yours, too, if you just LET God be GOD.
John 1:5 AMPC
And the Light shines on in the darkness, for the darkness has never overpowered it [put it out or absorbed it or appropriated it, and is unreceptive to it].
This is the accurate translation and it expresses the absolute victory of Christ, the Light and the Life. The darkness can never, has never overpowered, seized, displaced, possessed, or controlled the Light!
Darkness is the realm of sin and evil, the domain of Satan. As strong as that darkness is, as prevalent as it seems, the Light of Christ is not subject to it and cannot be seized or conquered by it. LIGHT always dispels and exposes darkness.
As you behold Christ and look to Him in dependence, you become the Light of the world and darkness will come for you. It will try to extinguish you, but it will not and cannot prevail to conquer you.
Your protection is “looking away to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.”
