About Law of Liberty Series

The Law of the Spirit isn't a new set of rules or method that you must perform - it's all done for you. What is this Law of Liberty all about?

Galatians 6:1 AMPC
Brethren, if any person is overtaken in misconduct or sin of any sort, you who are spiritual (who are responsive to and controlled by the Spirit) should set him right…

Here is the true definition of a spiritual person. 1 Corinthians 2:15 was a description of the spiritual person.

This is the way to become “responsive to and controlled by the Spirit.” Only in this way of constant surrender to the Holy Spirit does a person become one who is trusted by the Father with authority and responsibility for the Body of Christ.

Acts 6:5 …they selected Stephen, a man full of faith (a strong and welcome belief that Jesus is the Messiah) full of and controlled by the Holy Spirit.

Stephen was trusted with the practical duty of “serving at tables and superintending the distribution of food.”

Such was his real spirituality that he was trusted by the Apostles. And in such a menial place, he prospered by surrender to the Spirit. His spiritual power increased as the Spirit gained more control of the man by his constancy in being sensitive to the Holy Spirit.

v. 8 Now Stephen, full of GRACE (divine blessing and favor) and power (strength and ability) worked great wonders and signs (miracles) among the people.
