LET. Wielded by the Holy Spirit, this tiny word had a huge impact on Martha’s life, and the adventure can be yours, too, if you just LET God be GOD.

Mark 11:25-26 AMPC
And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against any one, forgive him and let it drop (leave it, let it go), in order that your Father Who is in heaven may also forgive your [own] failings and shortcomings and let them drop.
But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your failings and shortcomings.
When I was learning to forgive and ask forgiveness, these verses were like fire to me. I was working hard to not just forgive offenses…but to live and breathe in a constant flow of all forgiveness, from the past to the present.
I knew from these verses that you can ask for forgiveness but you will not experience it – or posses it – until you forgive “those who trespass against you.” I wanted to completely forgive so as to be forgiven and I was in fervent prayer that He would show me my sin and my offenses. I had begun to realize I lived constantly in a vague sense of guilt.
During one night, I was awakened by the Lord, and I began to deeply repent of my sins as a mother. I could see the Light God was bringing, and I began to weep with awful sorrow. Suddenly a great peace passed through, inside me and over me and my sorrow and my tears abruptly ended. I went back easily to a peaceful sleep.
Fruit of Forgiveness
The next day I asked the Lord, “What was that strange experience?” I sensed He answered, “That is the fruit of your forgiveness. You felt the power of grace for your own sins.” There was no longer a veil over my face and I was in God’s unblocked presence! I felt a clear conscience, probably for the first time. That unnamed guilt was gone. I felt clean!
Because of Christ’s unending and unlimited forgiveness, a clear conscience is wonderfully possible and absolutely essential to your life now and your destiny then.
