About Let Series
LET. Wielded by the Holy Spirit, this tiny word had a huge impact on Martha’s life, and the adventure can be yours, too, if you just LET God be GOD.
God gave humanity the choice between life and death.
Genesis 2:9b NIV
In the middle of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
Moses reminded Israel of this eternal choice.
Deuteronomy 30:19 NASB
I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. So choose life in order that you may live, you and your descendants…
Our Father wants only one thing and He will do the rest. He wants you to choose Him Who is Life. He gave one great gift to Adam and Eve, to you and me—complete freedom to reject Him. That gift has never been withdrawn.
Eternal Freedom to Choose
Jesus demonstrated this sacred gift of God with absolute commitment.
He never pressured Judas to change his plan.
He did not wrestle the rich young ruler and force his choice.
He would not use power or force to gain followers.
Jesus never begged anyone to follow Him. He simply offered. Follow me, and He walked on. That’s why His disciples quickly acted and left all to run after Him! Jesus went on…
From the very beginning, God asked nothing more of His relationship with humanity than that we would choose Him. In the garden there was only one thing He asked: to be chosen. Above independence, more than knowledge, God wanted to be chosen.
God never wanted automatons or slaves. He wanted sons and daughters who wanted Him. He asked nothing more of His relationship with humanity than that we would choose Him. Then the rest is His to give, to fix, to do and even to be.
LET is simply to receive all!
