He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High…
The Most High, El Elyon, means “supreme majesty.” God is above all, the Very Highest Being with all power, all dominion.
El Elyon is authority – majestic and ultimate – over war, disease, and disaster. Who-He-Is: this is practical security. I must know Him as “Most High.”
Daniel knew his God as Most High, and his immunity to powerful evil was miraculous.
