There are two things we need to know and believe about God: His eternal power and His divine nature. Is God truly who He says He is: Sovereign Love?

Job didn’t understand and couldn’t bear his suffering, nor the tormentors who judged him.
His dilemma was of two kinds: he wasn’t sure God was in control, and he didn’t know Him in and through such suffering.
Everything was solved when God – Yahweh, “the revealing one” – came to Job and let the man see Him. When you see God as God, there is no more problem.
So that we will consider this, the Holy Spirit included the story of another man who needed to know that God was truly GOD. This time it was not sickness or loss that was the crisis of faith. For Habakkuk, it was the invasion of his homeland by cruel Assyria. And the man who knew God’s purity, questioned His power. He cried out directly to his God:
You who are of purer eyes than to see evil and cannot look at wrong, why do You idly look at traitors and remain silent when the wicked swallows up the man more righteous than he?
