About What’s In A Name? Series

What's in a name? Names identify, explain, and serve to distinguish one from another. What do God's names reveal to us about Him, coming from Him?

Genesis 17:1 AMPC
“I am God Almighty;
Walk [habitually] before Me [with integrity, knowing that you are always in My presence], and be blameless and complete [in obedience to Me].”

When God gives a promise, He intends us to understand that it will come from Him alone, without our participation.

We move without God because we do not see God, as He isWe are charmed with our own power and possibility and don’t realize how deeply we presume we are god. Self fills our vision. And this is our blindness to God.

God Almighty waited for the man to come down to ‘need’ until his eyes could open to see God as the Only Power.
