About The Road to Union Series
The new creation exists in union with Jesus and the Father—a fact. Yet the road to union isn't based on attainment, but revelation and realization.
Romans 6:6-7 AMPC
We know that our old (unrenewed) self was nailed to the cross with Him in order that [our] body [which is the instrument] of sin might be made ineffective and inactive for evil, that we might no longer be the slaves of sin.
For when a man dies, he is freed (loosed, delivered) from [the power of] sin [among men].
Before you can live in resurrection life with all its amazement, you have to know (in Christ) your own grave, pass through the grave, and count on the grave. The daily Cross is your daily grave. You have to begin with your position of death before you can live Christ’s Life.
Your death is a fact…as certain as the historical fact of the Cross. If you believe in Christ’s death, burial and resurrection, you can believe that you were IN Him in the same experience.
“My old self is dead in Christ and I am dead” is a FACT. Just state it, think it, and it will take hold of you and become real.
