About Let Series
LET. Wielded by the Holy Spirit, this tiny word had a huge impact on Martha’s life, and the adventure can be yours, too, if you just LET God be GOD.
He fell facedown and prayed, “My Father! If it is possible, let this cup pass from Me. Yet not as I will, but as You will.”
Matthew 26:39 HCSB
Jesus – in agony of heart, blood pouring from sweat – begged His soul’s most desperate plea to “Let this cup pass from Me.”
In Gethsemane, He faced that dreadful choice we also face: To let God be or let God go.
The suffering of Jesus was redemptive for our very existence, our eternity. What if He had refused to let Himself be taken to the most horrific, unfathomable crushing? Where would we be apart from His surrender to let God choose and let Himself…DIE!
