About Pursued by Love Series
Love is a force that is not stoppable or predictable. Love is unquenchable. The only thing you can do to Love is…miss it.
For she (Gomer) said, “I will go after my lovers, who give me…”
The saga of Hosea and Gomer, in essence, is NOT about immorality. It is an illustration that uses adultery to paint a vivid picture of the true meaning of idolatry, that which so offends God’s love.
Whatever your source is, that is your lover. Where your pleasure is, there is your love.
For Gomer it was simply primal, very practical, need: food, drink, and clothes. Her adultery was not about excess or riches.
The one who provides you with the common basics, that one is your god.
