About What’s In A Name? Series

What's in a name? Names identify, explain, and serve to distinguish one from another. What do God's names reveal to us about Him, coming from Him?

Genesis 17:1 AMPC
I am Almighty God.

The secret of it all lies in that Name, that never-before-named Name.

When God revealed Himself anew by His name as Almighty God, Abram could no longer be called Abram. In that revelation of God, he was changed essentially and was a different man at his core.

We are who we are…according to our enlightenment about God, from God. That knowledge is from Seeing, not information. It is a personal revealing from God of Himself.

God wants to be known, makes it possible to BE known. And all preparation in life is to be made capable of seeing His Real Being. The names of God describe Him, but it takes a divine intervention to see Him by the meaning of His names.
