We like the familiar by thinking it's 'all there is.' God is the Creator, exploding with imagination and bursting with plans, unexpected and beyond our dreams. Are we ready? Will we receive the new?

Matthew 13:10-12 AMP
Then the disciples came to Him and said, Why do You speak to them in parables?
And He replied to them, To you it has been given to know the secrets and mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given. For whoever has (spiritual knowledge), to him will more be given and he will be furnished richly so that he will have abundance; but from him who has not, even what he has will be taken away.
The mysteries of the kingdom that reside in heaven are given to the disciple, the one who follows Jesus by the desire for an intimate relationship of knowing Him. The PERSON of Jesus leads His followers into all the NEW. A disciple is one who follows HIM, while a scribe is one who studies ABOUT Him.
The student-scribe must BECOME the loving-disciple of the heavenly rule before he can know the NEW.
