About What’s In A Name? Series

What's in a name? Names identify, explain, and serve to distinguish one from another. What do God's names reveal to us about Him, coming from Him?

Reading Luke 10:17-24
verse 21 AMPC
In that same hour He rejoiced and gloried in the Holy Spirit and said, I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have concealed these things [relating to salvation] from the wise and understanding and learned, and revealed them to babes (the childish, unskilled and untaught). Yes, Father, for such was Your gracious will and choice and good pleasure.

The names that reveal God’s nature, character and power are beyond the petty limit of ‘knowing minds.’ To know God as He describes Himself needs an untainted imagination and child-pure eyes to see what is really real in the world of wonder!

El Shaddai!

God has everything in His big deep pockets! And He just reaches in and gives it all away!
