About What’s In A Name? Series

What's in a name? Names identify, explain, and serve to distinguish one from another. What do God's names reveal to us about Him, coming from Him?

John 17:3 AMPC
And this is eternal life, [it means] to know (to perceive, recognize, become acquainted with and understand) You, the only true and real God…

The one priority and meaning of life, our single pursuit is to discover the unfathomable, Mystery God. Every event, all issues of life have one purpose: to be available for God to reveal Himself.

Manfred Haller wrote in his book, The Mystery of God:
“’Mystery’ or ‘secret’ in Scripture refers to what cannot be explained, something that precludes analysis. There is only one possibility of understanding such things – that is through revelation from God Himself.”

The end of every difficulty, the secret of every trial is this and this alone: Who are You, God?

That revelation of God – from God – is hidden from the logical and learned, and given with Joy to infants, those dependent on God as babes.
