About What’s In A Name? Series

What's in a name? Names identify, explain, and serve to distinguish one from another. What do God's names reveal to us about Him, coming from Him?

John 15:8 NASB
My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples.

Jesus’ Father is El Shaddai, so lavish a Giver that His bounty is immeasurable.

We are urged and commanded to bear fruit for God. But this is not possible for humanity. Who can make an apple? Orange? Banana?

As with Abraham, so with you and me. God demands fruit of your life to prove His existence, His great generosity, and to show how much He gives to and for His children. But that is impossible for any one of us!

El Shaddai, with you and me just as with Abraham, meets His own outlandish demands and fulfills His divine wishes by way of His unlimited means.
