About Let Series
LET. Wielded by the Holy Spirit, this tiny word had a huge impact on Martha’s life, and the adventure can be yours, too, if you just LET God be GOD.
…who by faith conquered kingdoms, performed acts of righteousness, obtained promises, shut the mouths of lions, quenched the power of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, from weakness were made strong…
Hebrews 11:33-34 NASB
The greatest paradox about strong faith, is that it is only obtained IN and through…utter weakness.
Charles Spurgeon sees this so forcefully! From his November 4th devotional1:
“…for My strength is made perfect in weakness.”
2 Corinthians 12:9 NKJV
“God will not go forth with that man who marches in his own strength. … Those who serve God must serve Him in His own way, and in His strength, or He will never accept their service.
“Are you mourning over your own weakness? Take courage, for there must be a consciousness of weakness before the Lord will give you victory. Your emptiness is but the preparation for your being filled, and your casting down is but the making ready for your lifting up.”
