About The Mystery of Discipleship Series
Jesus’ closest disciples were trusted to speak for Him and tell us His story. All are called to the mystery of discipleship, but the choice is ours.
Ephesians 2:21 AMPC
In Him the whole structure is joined (bound, welded) together harmoniously, and it continues to rise (grow, increase) into a holy temple in the Lord [a sanctuary dedicated, consecrated and sacred to the presence of the Lord].
“Structure…” Church is a vast organization that exists in Christ, transcending denomination, time and distance. He is building, gathering the ones who abide in Him, from every place, by a joining that is filled with harmony, not discord. Commitment, not division. Holiness, not commonness.
“A holy temple in the Lord…” The temple now is the people who exist for Christ. Church is for the focus and presence of Christ! It is “dedicated, consecrated and sacred to the presence of the Lord.”
