About The Mystery of Discipleship Series
Jesus’ closest disciples were trusted to speak for Him and tell us His story. All are called to the mystery of discipleship, but the choice is ours.
Ephesians 2:21b-22 AMPC
…a holy temple in the Lord [a sanctuary dedicated, consecrated and sacred to the presence of the Lord]. In Him [and in fellowship with one another] you yourselves also are being built up [into this structure] with the rest, to form a fixed abode (dwelling place) of God in (by, through) the Spirit.
Church is built by God through the Spirit, and we are being formed to fit together as an abode for Christ, an expression of Christ. That is Church: Christ living and being.
God is specific to His Master Plan and uncompromising as to His ultimate intentions – Christ Jesus as Church, because Church IS Christ.
He will not change to our blueprint. God will let you have your own building if you must, but He will not sustain what He does not ordain, nor indwell what He did not build.
Just as He gave the plan to Moses for the tabernacle and to Solomon for the temple, He is orchestrating, with meticulous care, each saint’s preparation to be a living stone, fitted for His Home.
