PrintAbout Who Are You, God? Series
As we consider His names in order to know Him, we pray He will reveal His character, His ways and His outpouring to humanity. Who are you, God?
Devotional
Behold, I have given you AUTHORITY…over all the POWER of the enemy…
Luke 10:19 NASB
The power of the believer is defined by the Greek word exousia: authority, power, privilege, right, jurisdiction, strength (Strong’s #1849).
Satan’s power is defined by the Greek word dunamis: power, strength, violence, mighty work (Strong’s #1411).
Exousia is the power of lawful authority. Dunamis is dynamic power. Jesus granted AUTHORITY over every form of evil, every work of Satan. The power of authority is higher than dynamic power.
